All those involved with Monifieth Ladies FC wish to congratulate the success of two of our teams who have won their respective League titles this year.

Our girls from Monifieth Reds U13 played superbly well this year and their league form was fantastic with 18 victories from 18 league matches in the Lisa Evans (Dundee/Angus) League. Many of these matches were hard fought and against very competitive teams who have shown just how the standard of girls football in this area is steadily on the rise so this achievement from the Reds is quite something. Here are some photos of the girls being awarded with their medals.

Here are some photos of the girls from our U15 team from this year: U15 photos

A fantastic achievement from both sets of girls who have now set the bar of achievement for themselves and the rest of the teams who play under the Monifieth Ladies FC banner.

This series of performances and the end result is indeed a most fitting tribute to the wonderful and irrepressible Justine Simpson who played a central role in encouraging and inspiring all girls involved with Monifieth Ladies FC to be the best they could be.

With that in mind may we take this opportunity to wish all teams all the best and we look forward to seeing you all on the pitch next year.
